Edu Assist

Edu Assist is a Telegram Mini App bringing university programs, scholarships and mentorship together for students exploring education abroad.

The challenge

Comparing university websites, admissions requirements and scholarship opportunities takes time. The project brings discovery into one mobile-friendly Telegram interface, where students can explore programs using their academic profile and save options for later.

Key features

  • A searchable program catalog with country, degree, field and language filters.
  • Program pages with available requirements, tuition information and deadlines.
  • International scholarships and links to official sources.
  • An academic profile, matching indicators and a GPA calculator.
  • Saved items, program comparison and questions for mentors.

Interface and architecture

The mobile interface uses React, TypeScript and Vite. The Telegram Mini App is connected to a bot, while serverless functions support profiles, the catalog, saved items and mentorship. The app includes student, mentor and owner roles, with Uzbek, Russian and English interfaces.

Its design combines iOS-inspired translucent layers and adaptive navigation. University and scholarship information comes from an external catalog; applicants should verify all requirements and deadlines with official sources.

At the November 2026 check, the catalog contained 9,149 programs and 62 scholarships. These figures may change. Screenshots show the real application interface with demo data.
