I am now officially a higher education graduate

Some days are just a date on the calendar, yet they stay in the heart for a lifetime. For me one of those days is the ceremonial end of my student years — the day I received my diploma.

Four years — in one breath

Once, to a young man taking his first step into a lecture hall, the word “graduation” felt distant, almost legendary. Looking back now, those four years flew by like a single breath. Yet inside that breath were countless dawns, sleepless nights, half-finished cups of tea and goals finally reached.

Student life is not merely a sum of lectures and exams. It is a school that teaches you to look at yourself with confidence, not to fear asking questions and not to be ashamed of mistakes. From that school I took patience as well as knowledge.

The first step on the path of knowledge

My academic journey began at the Fiscal Institute under the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Within those walls I came to know the logic of taxation — a complex and at the same time elegant system. I understood that behind every formula stands the state budget, and behind every report — the lives of people.

Knowledge is not a burden on your shoulders — it is wings given for flight.

Studying in an era of reform — a special fortune

I happened to study during a period of change in the education system, and that became a great opportunity for me. In 2024, in line with a Presidential resolution, the Fiscal Institute joined the unified Tashkent State University of Economics. That change brought us new professors, new subjects and new perspectives.

The timetable held not only tax and finance but also econometrics, financial modelling and information technology. That very combination steered me towards a profession where you understand numbers and can manage them with code.

A diploma is a comma, not a full stop

A diploma is a certificate of the road travelled, but it is never the end. Today I see myself not as a “finished specialist” but as a specialist who knows how to learn. Laws change, technologies update, market demands take new shapes — only the habit of learning stays the same.

Who I am grateful to

  • My parents — for a faith that never fades.
  • My teachers — for giving me not the answer but the ability to think.
  • My friends — for standing shoulder to shoulder on hard days.
  • Myself — for not giving up.

New pages lie ahead: turning knowledge into practice, caring for my family and leaving a mark in my profession. Many trials still await me on this road — and I am ready for them.

A path begun with knowledge continues with knowledge.
